Parent Square Information

1. Open the invitation email or text from your school.  This is the same email you are using for your Aeries Parent Portal account.  Click "Activate your account" or tap the link to activate your account.

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Create a Password for your Parent Square Account and click "Register".

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Click "Confirm" for your phone number and/or email.  A verification code will be sent to the email or phone number.

4. Enter the verification code to confirm.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5. Confirm your child(ren) by clicking "Confirm". Use "Not My Child" if a child listed is not associated with your account.

6. Select "Yes, This is Me" when you have confirmed your contact information and child(ren) associated with your account.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

7. That's it!!! You have successfully created your Parent Square account.

8.  Parent Square is also available in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.  Having the app on your phone makes it more convenient to get messages and notifications as well as communicate with your child's teacher directly.  The QR codes to download the apps are below for your convenience.

 

If you did not receive the invitation email or your registration link expired, you will need a new link.  Please contact your school office and ask for a new link or invitation.  You may also email helpdesk@tusd.net and request for a new invitation.  Please be sure to include your child's information in the request.

If you have another legal contact spouse, significant other, or legal guardian with FERPA on file and did not receive the invite, please notify the school office personnel. Once they verify the request, then may change your information in Aeries so the invite can be sent.

If you need to change your contact information, please contact your school office.  The school office personnel will need to verify the request, then may change your information in Aeries.

Sometimes, parents with more than one child will have multiple accounts because parent information didn’t match (name, email, phone). Typically, different emails may have been used for the children.  To merge accounts, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your main ParentSquare account.
2. Click your name in upper right and select My Account.
3. Click Combine with another account.
4. If there are any accounts matching your verified email(s) or phone(s), a page with recommended users will appear: 

           a. Click Combine Accounts, confirm any additional contacts on the account, and click Combine Accounts.
           b. If you do not see the account you want listed, click Combine Another Account.

5.  Log in to the other ParentSquare account you want to combine.
6.  Select name to use on your account and click Combine Accounts.

Your accounts are now combined.

The next time you login to ParentSquare, you will be able to access your account using any of the associated email addresses or phone numbers on your combined account.

In case you do not see your other child's account, please email helpdesk@tusd.net.

Please go to parentsquare.com/signin.  On the login screen, click "Forgot Password".  Type you email or phone number and you will receive a link to reset your password.

Please check your spam folder to see if any ParentSquare messages ended up there. If so, make them as "Not Spam".

Also add donotreply@parentsquare.com to your email contacts so your server recognizes our messages.  Whitelist the email address so it does not go to spam.

The email will come from "Student School

The preferred language and correspondence language is set during your child's registration in Aeries.  If you need these to be changed, please contact your child's school office personnel.

You may also change your language preference in Parent Square by doing the following:

1. Login to your Parent Square account using your internet browser or your phone app.
2. Go to your "Account" - your name on the upper right corner or the 3 lines on the upper left corner if you are using the app
3. Click "Language Settings" and change your language preference.
4.  If you are using the app, click "Preferences" and select "Language".

Notification preferences are set by default, but you may change this.

To change the frequency of receiving messages, please by doing the following:

1. Login to your Parent Square account using your internet browser or your phone app.
2. Go to your "Account" - your name on the upper right corner or the 3 lines on the upper left corner if you are using the app
3. Click "Notification Settings" and change your preferences.
4.  If you are using the app, click "Account" on and select "Notifications".

Please note that you cannot change notifications for emergency and attendance alerts.

You do not have to opt-in.  Once you have created an account, you will be able to receive messages and notifications.  If you want to use the app, simply download it from the Apple app store or the Google play store and follow the prompts on your phone.

Absolutely.  Parent Square is a 2-way communication platform that allows you to communicate with your child's teacher in private.  Your child's teacher might already be sending messages to you so make sure you have an active account.

You can contact your child's teacher by using Direct Messages.  On your Parent Square Homepage, click "Message" on the left sidebar.  From there you can send a direct message to your child's teacher that only you and the teacher can see.  What's nice is you can actually communicate with your child's teacher in your native language (if you set the language preference in your account).
